A Greek nymph Minthe was beloved by a God of the underworld Hades, and was transformed into the mint plant, by his wife, oh my! Mints are generally used for digestive tonic to relieve nausea, gas, cramps, IBS, and in the culinary world they are tasty in sauces, candies, jellies, gum and more. Externally mints can be applied to bee stings, headache, burns, and made into a compress to cool the head.
